Simon Says Stamp - Give Thanks November 2025 Card Kit

Hello my friends, the Simon Says Stamp Give Thanks November 2025 card kit has arrived in the cubbyhole, full to the brim as always with a fabulous selection of crafting goodies. You can check out all the products in the kit, purchase individual items from the kit and sign up to subscribe to the great value for money for kits, if you don't already, HERE.

I created a card using the Craft Consortium Metal Textures paper, Simon Says Counting Blessings 6" x 8" and CZ Designs Small Thanks 3" x 4" stamp sets and Red Maple Wafer die set included in the kit along with Simon Says Leafy Wreath Embossing Folder from the Sugar and Spice release.
I trimmed one of the Craft Consortium Metal Textures 6" x 6" papers to 4" x 5.1/4",embossed using the Leafty Wreath Embossing Folder, sanded over the detail to reveal the white core of the paper and fussy cut around the inside to create an aperture.
I fixed the panel to an A2 card blank, scored and folded from the Simon Says Ivory cardstock included in the kit.
I inked the wheat sheaf image from the Counting Blessing stamp set with Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink, stamped twice on to the Ivory cardstock, fussy cut the original wheat sheaf and the second image to make individual wheat sheaf stems.
I applied a coat of Distress Collage Medium on the aperture to hold Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Mummy Cloth in place and added the wheat sheaf sprig popped up on Simon Says Thin Foam Squares.
I die-cut the Thanks shadow from Ivory cardstock and the word from the remaining patterned paper, layered and fixed in place with Simon Says Thin Foam Squares. I added 3 individual wheat stems to balance out the arrangement.
To finish I inked the sentiment from CZ Designs Small Thanks stamp set with Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink on to a strip of Ivory cardstock and fixed in place with Simon Says Thin Foam Squares.

In the meantime, have fun with whatever you're making.

Simon Says - Use More Than One Stencil

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
USE MORE THAN ONE STENCIL
I created a card with an Autumnal feel using Simon Says Stamp Red Maple set of layering stencils and Red Maple Wafer dies from the Give Thanks November Card Kit along with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Set 48.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4" and applied Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink through the first of the layering stencils from Simon Says Red Maple set of 4.
I applied Rusty Hinge and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks through the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halftone and Circuit Mini Layering Stencils from Set 48.
I placed an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card on Simon Says Black Stamp and Stencil Mat and applied Bundled Sage, Crushed Olive, Rusty Hinge and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks through all 4 of the Simon Says Red Maple set of layering stencils.
I inked the edges of the card panel with Crushed Olive Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool, die cut the stencilled leaf using Simon Says Red Maple wafer die and added splatters to the card panel and die-cut using Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz.
I fixed the die-cut leaf to the panel using Simon Says Thin 3D Foam Squares and added a white hemp twine bow. I die-cut the Red Maple shadow section from vellum and the word from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Gold Metallic Classics KraftStock, layered and fixed in place with Thin 3D Foam Squares.
To finish I matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.

Peace and Love at Christmas

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card using the Large Snowflake CutOuts Stencils and Reverse Vintage Christmas Sentiment Stickers from Simon Says Stamp recent Sugar and Spice release along with a generous helping of Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Scribbly Snowflakes Thinlits. You can check out all the products in the release HERE.

I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to 4" x 5.1/4" and coloured by smooshing the Dusty Concord and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink pads on to my craft mat, spritzed with water and dragged the panel through the inks, dried and tapped back in to pick up the remaining ink droplets. I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through the circular snowflake stencil from Simon Says Stamp Large Snowflake Cutouts stencils, sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter and set aside to dry.
Check out the gorgeous frosty sparkliness
I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Scribbly Snowflakes Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I die-cut the Reverse Vintage Christmas Sentiment Strips using Simon Says Stamp EZ Strips Rectangles Wafer Dies, coloured the white edges with a Memento Black pen and fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp 3D Foam Strips.
I added PinkFresh Studio Silver Metallic Pearls to the centres of the snowflakes and matted the panel on to an A2 white card blank.

Have fun with whatever you're making.

Simon Says - Add Some Text

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
ADD SOME TEXT
I created Halloween Tag cards using Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock #8 Tags, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Sets 23 and 49 and sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits to add text to the background and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Haunted House and Frightful Things Thinlits die-cuts.
I coloured the Distress Mixed Media HeavyStock #8 Tags by smooshing the Distress Oxide ink pads on to my craft mat, spritzed with water, dragged the tags through the inks and dried. I tapped the tags back into the inks to pick up the remaining droplets.
I applied Distress Black Texture Paste through the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Sets 23 and 49.
I die-cut the ghosts from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Frightful Things and placed on Simon Says Stamp Black Stamp and Stencil Mat. I placed the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits on to an acrylic block, inked with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink and stamped over the die-cuts.
I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Haunted House from Distress Black Two-Tone Woodgrain card, sadly discontinued and if you don't have it in your stash, you could use Distress Black HeavyStock and stamped the sentiments as before, inked with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide ink.
I inked the sentiments again with Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide ink and stamped randomly over the tags.
I dragged a Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink pad around the edges of the tags, coloured the tag reinforcers with a Memento Black Pen and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. I fixed scraps of Distress Black HeavyStock behind the ghosts and fixed the Haunted House and ghosts to the tags using Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares to create dimension.
I spritzed Ivory Faux Silk Ribbon with Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and dried.
I fed the faux silk ribbon through the tag reinforcers and tied bows using black/white check ribbon from my stash to hold in place.
I added splatters of Hickory Smoke Distress Spritz
To finish I fixed the tags to side-folding white card blanks and trimmed off the excess to create tag shaped cards.
