Simon Says - Think Pink

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

The first challenge of the month is when the team showcase one particular company/brand and this week we are all using the fabulous products from Dylusions. You don't have to use Dylusions products to take part in the challenge but we would love to see what you make with them, if you have them in your stash.
We are also welcoming the lovely and talented Alison Bomber back again as our Designer In The Spotlight and why don't you pop over to her BLOG, you will be in for a real treat.
The theme for this week is...
THINK PINK
In support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I created a page in my Dylusions Large Art Journal using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint/Distress Spray Stain, Dylusions Small Write Now Stencil, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper, Stampers Anonymous Faded Type and Sizzix Bold Text 2 Thinlits.
I brayered a light patchy coat of Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint on to the Art Journal page and dried. I sprayed Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain through the Dylusions Small Write Now Stencil. I replaced the stencil over the sprayed sections, inked the stamp from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Faded Type with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and pressed the stamp on to the stencilled sections. I inked the numbers stamp from the same set with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink and stamped randomly on the page.
I traced around sections of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper with a Detailer Water Brush, teased apart and fixed to the page using Distress Collage Medium and Collage Brush.
I added splatters of Dina Wakley Black Gesso.
I outlined the stencilled section with a Black Liner Pen.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bold Text 2 Thinlits from Distress Black HeavyStock, trimmed to create a panel, fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium and added the drop-out "O" letters.

STAMPtember 2025 Festive Cards

Hello my friends, I'm back to share the cards I made with the left over die-cuts from yesterday's Tim Holtz Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember 2025 Festive Shaker Cards.

After die-cutting the apertures for yesterday's shaker cards using the Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2025 Festive Words shadow dies, I set them aside to use on today's cards.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to make 4 - A2 panels. I dipped the Distress Watercolor Pencils from Set 6 into water, scribbled on to the acrylic block included in the kit, spritzed with water and pressed on to the panels to colour the backgrounds. I die-cut the Festive Words from Idea-ology Silver Metallic KraftStock, fixed to the shadow pieces and adhered to the panels using Distress Collage Medium.
I inked the Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2025 Festive Sentiments with Versamark ink, stamped on to Distress Watercolor card, sprinkled with Simon Says Silver Detail Embossing Powder, heat set and fixed in place with Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares.
I coloured the Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2025 Festive Watercolor stamps by dipping the Distress Watercolor Pencils from Set 6 in water, scribbled over the stamps, spritzed with water, stamped on to Distress Watercolor card and in some cases, stamped again using second generation.

I die-cut the flowers and foliage using my trusty Sidekick and the co-ordinating Festive Watercolor dies.
I wound the Simon Says Silver Cord around the panels, added the die-cut flowers and foliage, popped  up on Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares to create dimension, and added silver cord double bows.
To finish I matted the panels on to top and side folding A2 white card blanks.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned and I'll see you all on Monday to share my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

STAMPtember 2025 Festive Shaker Cards

Hello my friends, if you were able to order the amazing STAMPtember 2025 Festive Workshop Kit from Tim Holtz and Simon Says Stamp before it sold out and join Tim and Heidi in the awesome workshop class on Simon Says Stamp YouTube channel HERE, you will totally get my excitement at spending a couple of days on a fun compartmental making adventure and sharing the shaker cards I made using products from the kit.

I trimmed the Distress Watercolor card included in the kit to make 4 - A2 panels, spritzed with the Hickory Smoke Distress Spritz and die-cut using the STAMPtember 2025 Festive Words shadow dies.
I trimmed the acetate included in the kit and fixed behind the apertures using Simon Says Tear-rific Tape. I fixed the Simon Says 3D Foam Strips around the apertures, filled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter, Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter and the Simon Says Moonshine Embellishment Mix and fixed second acetate panels in place to seal.
I die-cut the Festive Words from the Idea-ology Silver Metallic Kraftstock, fixed to the acetate negative spaces with Distress Collage Medium and trimmed the panels to 4" x 5.1/4".
I stamped the Festive Sentiments on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Silver Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I die-cut with the co-ordinating Festive Sentiments dies and fixed in place with Simon Says Thin 3D foam squares.
I coloured the Festive Watercolor stamps by dipping the Distress Watercolor Pencils from Set 6 in water, scribbled over the stamps, spritzed with water, stamped on to Distress Watercolor card and in some cases, stamped again using second generation.

I die-cut the flowers and foliage using my trusty Sidekick and the co-ordinating Festive Watercolor dies.
I fixed the die-cut flowers and foliage to the panels with Distress Collage Medium and Simon Says 3D Thin Foam Squares to add dimension and decorated with Silver Pearl Embellisments. To finish I matted the shaker panels on to Idea-ology Silver Metallic Kraftstock trimmed 1/8" larger and fixed to A2 white card blanks.

The kit has sold out but some individual items are still available, as linked below. I'll be back tomorrow to share the cards I made with the left over die-cuts.

Simon Says - Trees

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
TREES
I created Christmas cards and tags using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bottlebrush Trees, Festive Tags dies and Festive Sentiments Stamps and dies from the Simon Says Stamp/Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2025, Idea-ology Christmas Collage Paper, Postmarked Sticker Book and Cello Sticker Tape.
I began by colouring Distress Watercolor card using a Distress Custom Ink Pad (colours linked below), trimmed to create 2 - A2 panels and die-cut using Tim Holtz/STAMPtember Festive Tags dies.
I placed various sizes of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bottlebrush Trees on to Grid Blocks, inked with Candied Apple and Rustic Wilderness Mini Distress Oxide ink pads, spritzed with water and stamped on to the card panels and tags.
I added torn strips of Idea-ology Christmas Collage Paper applied with Distress Collage Medium and small paintbrush.
I inked around the edges of the panels and tags with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool, spritzed with Dina Wakley White and Black Gloss Spray and dried. I die-cut the Festive Tags and hole reinforcers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas 2024 Backdrops, fixed behind the original tags and fixed thin strips to the card panels.
I stamped the Tim Holtz Festive Sentiments, inked with Versamark on to Simon Says Schoolhouse Red cardstock, sprinkled with white embossing powder, heat set and die-cut with the co-ordinating Festive Sentiments dies. I fixed the sentiments in place with Simon Says 3D Foam Strips..
I added Idea-ology Christmas and Metallic Label Stickers to complete the sentiments, stamps from the Postmarked Sticker Book and Cello Sticker Tape.
I added Simon Says Red/White Bakers Twine to the tags and cards and matted the card panels on to A2 white card blanks.
