Simon Says - Trees

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

TREES

I created invitations for my Wicked Ghosties Halloween Party using Simon Says Stamp Scalloped Arches dies, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bottle Brush Trees, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Frightful Things Thinlits, Simon Says Stamp Homespun Halloween and Tim Holtz Tiny Text Halloween stamp and die bundles for  the sentiments.

I coloured A2 panels of Distress Watercolor card using Twisted Citron/Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade/Gathered Twigs and Seedless Preserves/Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks and die-cut using the largest Simon Says Stamp Scalloped Arches die.

I used the second largest die to create frames, rubbed Versafine Clair Nocturne ink pad over the frames to darken and fixed to White cardstock.

I stamped Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bottlebrush Trees on to the insert panels, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and fixed back into the negative spaces.

I die-cut the ghosts, umpkins and spiders from Distress Watercolor card, Distress Black Heavystock and Simon Says Stamp Sunshine cardstock and added splatters of Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink to the ghosts.

I placed the pumpkin top layer to my Simon Says Stamp Black Stamp and Stencil Mat and added shading with Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks using Detail Round Blending Brushes.

I fixed the ghosts and pumpkins to the panel popped up on Simon Says Stamp Black 3D Foam Squares, punched a hole in the top of the panel and added Black/White Bakers Twine.

I stamped the sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Tiny Text Halloween and Simon Says Stamp Homespun Halloween on to Distress Black Heavystock, inked with White Pigment Ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set.

I die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text Halloween and Homespun Halloween co-ordinating dies and fixed to the panels with Black 3D Foam Squares.

To finish I fixed the die-cut spiders to the panels popped up on Black 3D Foam Squares, applied Ranger Glossy Accents to the bodies and when dry painted with Distress Antiqued Fine Liquid Tinsel.

Simon Says - Halloween/Spooky

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...

HALLOWEEN/SPOOKY

I created a fun spooky card to wish my foolish mortal friends a Happy Halloween using the friendly ghosts and sentiments from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits Stamp and Die Bundle, the Moon Mask Layering Stencils, the tree branch from Mr Frostie Stamp and Die Bundle and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mummy Cloth.

I placed the middle sized moon mask on an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card, spritzed with Wilted Violet and Faded Jeans Distress Spray Stains. I removed the mask, spritzed around the moon with water, tilted the panel to allow the water to work it's magic, added water splatters and dried.

I placed the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits on to a Grid Block, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and repeatedly stamped on the background.

I stamped the tree branch from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonyomous Mr Frostie on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, coloured with Rusty Hinge and Ground Espresso Distress Stains using a Detailer Waterbrush, die-cut using the co-ordinating dies and fixed to the panel with small strips of Thin 3D Foam Squares. I dragged the Versafine Clair Nocturne ink pad around the edges of the panel to darken.

I stamped the ghosts from Spooky Spirits and coloured in the same way using Faded Jeans Distress Spray Stain.

I fixed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Mummy Cloth to the bottom of the panel using small dots of Distress Collage Medium, die-cut the ghosts using the co-ordinating dies and fixed to the panel with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares. I stamped the sentiments on to Distress Black HeavyStock, inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, heat set, die-cut and fixed in place with Thin 3D Foam Squares. I added splatters of Rusty Hinge Distress Spray Stain and used a Sakura Black Glaze Pen to accentuate the eyes of the ghosts.

To finish I matted the panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock and fixed to a white card blank.

Simon Says - Think Pink

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

THINK PINK

I created a page in my Stamperia Mixed Media 6" x 6" Art Journal using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection 8" x 8" papers die-cut with Simon Says Stamp Nested Stitched Rectangles dies to create a collage, Stampers Anonymous Faded Type and Abstract Florals stamp sets, Simon Says Stamp Abstract Florals co-ordinating dies and Beyond Measure stamps and dies for the page title.

I die-cut Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection 8" x 8" papers using Simon Says Stamp A2 Nested Stitched Rectangles dies and fixed to the page using Distress Collage Medium and a small Distress Collage Brush.

I stamped the numbers image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Faded Type randomly on the page, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and applied a coat of Distress Collage Medium over the page. I scribbled Distress Ground Espresso Distress Crayon over the collage and stamping and blended out using a piece of slightly damp kitchen roll.

I stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Abstract Florals on to a scrap of Simon Says Stamp Ivory cardstock, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils and a Detailer Waterbrush.

I added splatters of Distress Resist Spray, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I die-cut the images using Simon Says Stamp Abstract Florals co-ordinating dies, stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Beyond Measure, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink, die-cut using the co-ordinating dies and fixed to the page with 3D foam squares.

I created a Thanksgiving card using the Autumn Cornucopia Wafer dies and sentiments from the Homespun Thanksgiving stamp set and co-ordinating dies, all from the release.

I inked Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Perfect Plaid background stamp with Honey and Nutmeg Pawsitively Saturated ink, spritzed with water, stamped on to a panel of Distress Watercolor card and added Nutmeg ink around the edges.

I die-cut the Autumn Cornucopia Wafer Dies from Ivory, Cream, Sunshine, Green Apple and Espresso cardstock, placed on Simon Says Stamp Black Stamp and Stencil Mat, coloured and added shading using Simon Says Stamp Detail Round Blending Brushes and assembled.

I arranged the die-cuts around the Cornucopia die, fixed in place with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Glue and Thin 3D Foam Squares. I added Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter, wound Brown/White Bakers Twine from my stash around the top of the panel and tied in a double bow.

I stamped the sentiments from the 4" x 6" Homespun Thanksgiving stamp set on to Espresso cardstock inked with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Simon Says Stamp Cream Embossing Powder, heat set and die-cut with the Homespun Thanksgiving co-ordinating dies. 

I matted the panel on to Espresso cardstock and fixed to a White card blank.
